Breaking News: Prince Mikasa of Japan dies at age 100

Prince Mikasa of Japan,  uncle of the current Emperor Akihito, brother of Emperor Hirohito and son of  Emperor Taishō, died of cardiac arrest on October 27, 2016 in a hospital in Tokyo, Japan at the age of 100. His death leaves only four people in the Japanese line of succession.
The current order of succession is:
1. HIH Prince Naruhito, Crown Prince of Japan (1960) – eldest son of HIM Emperor Akihito
2. HIH Prince Akishino (Fumihito) (1965) – second son of HIM Emperor Akihito
3. HIH Prince Hisahito of Akishino (2006) – son of Prince Akishino
4. HIH Prince Hitachi (Masahito) (1935) – younger brother of HIM Emperor Akihito
